Dr. Sotela is available for community education programs and has previously contributed to educational events at SUNY Ulster Community College, Wethersfield, The Southlands Foundation, and The Dutchess County Fair.

Cavallo Veterinary Services welcomes inquiries from students interested in shadowing the daily activities of an ambulatory equine veterinary practice.

Dr. Sotela is an active member of the Dutchess County Professional Horseman’s Association, which is one of the sixteen nationwide chapters which make up the National PHA. The association promotes and fosters interest in the horse industry and aids in the protection and care of horses through education. Andrea is currently serving as the secretary for the organization.
